"Speeding"

The image is GinaK and sentiment computer generated.  One strip is a Fiskars edging punch, and the other a CP strip embossing folder.  The trim at the edge of the image comes from the "negatives" of the punch and was added to cover an "oops"!  Dp is Recollections.

Distressed birthday

This dp comes from a Fall pad by DCWV.  Image by GinaK.

Thoughts and Prayers

I really like to do monochromatic cards.  This uses various shades of teal.  I think the image is SU Thoughts and Prayers.  I added a couple of small punched butterflies.

Another green and yellow (birthday)

Sometimes there is a challenge, often for colors, that I simply am compelled to repeat - so it is with the green and yellow here.
The butterfly is C.C. Designs.  The Martha Stewart edge punch reminds me of leaves on a branch - I don't have the name with me.  The flower was sent a long time ago through Wish RAK at SCS.  DP is Basic Grey Origins, and the silky twine from Pizzazz Aplenty.  The sentiment is 7Gypsies Library stamp; the CB folder is Victoria.

50th Anniversary

This uses several pieces of DP, CS and trims that I have had in my stash for several years.. The embossing folder is Victoria by Cuttlebug.

Eat more chocolate!

My actual card looks more like this sketch than it appears here.  With my S L O W internet and uncertain connections, I won't take the time to re do the upload.
Image - Bugaboo;  HB EF - Cuttlebug, DP - DCWV; faux button dies - MFT Die-Namics; bits of lace and gold cord.

Sympathy, in yellow and green

The DP and butterfly are by Recollections; Spellbinders butterfly die; Nesties, pale yellow sheer ribbon, dark green cs.  The sentiment is Paper Inspiration.

The weekly challenge is to use butterflies, green and yellow, something from nature, and at least 3 layers.  I hope I met the criteria.  http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2012/07/this-weeks-challenge_19.html

4 cards

I will be back later with more descriptions.  I have now finished 100 cards in about 50 days, without purchasing supplies!

beach Chair

This is an image I received through WishRAK at Splitcoaststampers, and I neglected to note the origin.  I am pretty sure it is SU.  Colored with chalk pencils for a soft look.  I used lots of things from my stash!

Sunny day bar-b-q

I seem to need a lot of masculine cards.  I used some b&w dp sent by a cyber friend at WishRAK, backed by yellow cs from my stash.  The Fella image (stamping Bella), yellow tag and sunny die (CB Olivia set) have been in my stash for more than a couple of years.  The punch is Martha Steward trellis.  I colored the image with chalk pencils, and added a strip of black ribbon.  (The image and tag are also from WishRAK)

For Jack and Phyllis

A good friend was widowed after over 50 years of marriage.  After a few very lonely years, he has found a new love.  He has also been a loyal customer for several years, so I hope I have made a special card for him.  The image is digital, and the dp is Creative Memories.
I have so many favorites - here, this color, and the pearls.
Here is the sketch:   http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/

razorback fan

One of the advantages of creating cards is to be able to do special, personalized cards.  This is for the son-in-law of friends.  I found the logo in clip art,    The lettering is Olivia (CB) and bg - Distressed Stripes.  The sentiment is 7Gypsies Library stamp.

This challenge has to do with the Olympics/sports, so I hope being a #1 fan will qualify.  I have just a hint of the Olympic colors and circles LOL!   http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/
I used the third column of the TicTacToe - ribbon, distressing, and a button:  http://www.dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/
And the sketch, with a bit of tweaking:  http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.com/

What are you getting for your birthday? V.2

(Internet problems again - it has taken all afternoon to get this uploaded.  Grrr...)
This image was given to me by a friend - is it Art Impressions?  I colored with Prismas and metallic gel pens.  The sentiments are computer generated - in case you are wondering, the answer to What are you getting...?  is...   OLD.  These humorous cards are popular at our craft fairs.  I embossed with CB folders and used a variety of cs from my stash.
This is # 87 of my 100 in 100 - I have done 87 cards in 47 days, with no additional purchases.  It is a little challenge started over at SCS.  So far, there is no appreciable dent in my supply stash LOL!

Cool colors - greens, blues, and a bit of pink:  http://doyoustackup.blogspot.com/

My mind wanders

Another humorous card!  This is a set from GinaK.  I scored the borders.
I used pink, a charm and ribbon (left column) from the Bingo challenge:  http://www.cinspirations.blogspot.com/

Distressed Birthday

This used the image from the Our Daily Bread Happy Birthday set.  CP is from a recollections pad.  Bg is a dark brown.  Coloring with Twinkling H20's and pastel pencils.  Distressing, tearing, using ODB stamp:  http://ourdailybreaddesignsblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Shining%20the%20Light%20Challenge

Sympathy - Green and Cream

This card is somewhat of a departure from my usual style.  The challenge is for cream and green, using a stamped image and sentiment - so far, not a problem.  However, four layers - I was not sure if a sentiment on another layer would be too many, so I added the sentiment to the image layer.  No mention of ribbon, pearls, etc, so they are also missing.  This is a tailored look I think works well for a sympathy card.  Thanks, Selma, for another lovely inspiration.
The image is SU Ageless Adornment and the sentiment is Paper Inspirations.  CB embossing folder is Victoria.  The mats are a dark green.
Another departure - we are spending the summer in our RV.  I tried to estimate how many supplies I would use - this is my last ivory CS and I mismeasured the base, so it is 4.25x5.25.  Actually, the result seems more in proportion than I thought it would.

Teen birthday?

I do not have much for teen boys - not sure if this works.  Maybe just a big birthday greeting would be better.  Any ideas?
Birthday:  http://cardsformen.blogspot.com/
All from my stash - this dp (DCWV) is really Halloween, and I seldom make Halloween cards, so it is much neglected!   http://www.sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.com/

Wedding in White

This is a new version of a card I made several months ago.  A friend needs to send a wedding card.  The butterflies are by CC Designs.

Nostalgia in black and white

Recently friends from SCS's WishRAK group sent me lots of black and white cs and papers so I will be able to make a lot of cards using them!  This stamp came from a grab bag (unmounted) so I have no idea where it comes from.  The bg is cuttlebug Victoria.
Sketch:  http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.com/

Yahoo! We moved our RV to a different location this week and I have pretty good internet service - catching up on uploads and challenges!

Floral birthday

These papers come from a set I have had for quite a while - I think it is DCWV Garden Party.

Another birthday???

I am not sure what happened, but today I can actually upload cards pretty easily.  We spend the summers in an area which is on the fringe of a Verizon service area and I get dropped often - this is really our only option for service in this location.
Stamp - Rubbernecker.   EF - Argyle (CB)  Punch - Fiskars.  Sentiment - computer generated.
I used the sketch, but chose the Asterisk dies (Cuttlebug) instead of flowers, for a masculine card: http://willowsketchiechallenge.blogspot.com/

cat collection and more

My internet connection has not allowed me to add cards on a regular basis - here are some I have done over the past few days, including more for the cat collection.  Some I made for challenges and I have lost my list - if I find it in time, I will add these to the appropriate challenge.

Cat Collection #2

Cat Collection #1

Over the years I have made almost 2 dozen "cat cards" - for a customer.  It certainly stretches my creativity. I had this image in the stash I prepared before starting our summer trip and forget the origin.  One of these days I am really going to learn to label!  The DP is from my supply of Costco double sided cs.  Flowers are by Petaloo, and the trim is a Martha Stewart punch.  The ribbon and brads are also from my stash.
Use of flowers:  http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/
Sketch   http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.com/

Bathing Beauty

I used odds and ends of cs and paper.  The flowers are Petaloo, and the ribbon from Michaels.  The embossing folder - D'Vine Swirls, by Cuttlebug.
