Get Well

I used this sketch: http://sketchesbycarly.blogspot.com/

A get well card for: http://phindysplacechallenge.blogspot.com/

And an image, 2 background papers, and 3 embellishments (a heart, rhinestones, and a punch used as a corner embellishment): http://craftycardmakers.blogspot.com/

Anything goes, with some green: http://www.alwayscrafting.blogspot.com/2012/02/creative-mondays-anything-goes-ch2.html

My idea for Idea-Ology was to create a whimsical light hearted get well card: http://simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.com/
I was given the image. DP comes from a DCWV stack, punch is unmarked.

Girl on a Bike

I took the plunge and started a blog. Now I need to learn how to photograph my cards. This scan is particularly bad - probably because of the brads. IRL, the color is definitely more yellow!

I used the middle row across for the Bingo color challenge: http://pennyblackatallsorts.blogspot.com/

This is a birthday card: http://cardmakinmamas.blogspot.com/

"I spy" bike and black for the "b": http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/

The sketch: http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/Favorites:

Favorites: flowers, and black as a mat or highlight: http://craftuscrazy.blogspot.com/

The image is Penny Black, and the sentiment one of several on a 7Gypsies library stamp. I used DP from a Debbie Mumm stack, and black, yellow and white cs. Flowers are by Petaloo, brads from Joann's, Nesties circle, and half pearls. The black circle is embossed with Distressed Stripes, and I used chalk pastel pencils and a Spica gel pen for coloring.

Surfin' Mama

I was a bit stumped by a couple of these challenges, but in the end I think I accomplished them.

http://inkyimpressionschallenges.blogspot.com/
asks for yellow, pink and green - I have various shades of these colors.

http://ribboncarouselchallenge.blogspot.com/ is an inspiration challenge - lots of swirly colors, many of which are included here.
Link
http://www.thepixiecottage.blogspot.com/ - I chose the button and bow option.

http://paperprettiesblog.blogspot.com/
- use of die cuts was not a problem!

http://www.cinspirations.blogspot.com/ has what was for me a challenging layout.

I used a stamp from a tiny dollar set. The birthday greeting is from the cuttlebug folder - I found a line that worked, and inserted the strip part way. Then I put in the other end of the strip - result is upside down but I figured that would work. The circles are dies from a couple of different sets, and I finished with a button tied with twine, over a strip of ribbon. The green mat is also embossed, with circles.

The verse inside reads: Things could be worse. We could be trying on bathing suits. (I added) Have a happy birthday anyway. I have so many customers who love humorous cards, so I try to have a good supply on hand.

To celebrate a birthday

The layout is here: http://digidoodleshopsbest.blogspot.com/

I used pink, brown and a ribbon for: http://digidoodleshopsbest.blogspot.com/

A birthday card with bling (no way can I use it up on ONE card LOL!!): http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/

One of my favorite stamps is this one called Watercolor Daisy by Hampton Art Stamps. The sentiment is $ stamp. I used misc. pink, brown and white cs. The flowers are by Petaloo, with chocolate half pearls added. The sheer pink ribbon is Ribbon Boutique, and I used Nesties oval dies. I often cut a bit so I can use a smaller size, and here I did that to the stem. Watercoloring with an aqua brush, using Twinkling H2O Playful Peony and Olive Vine. I seldom color on colored cs, but this did seem to work.

This is a card I have already added to my gallery at SCS, for a Verve and a Party Time challenge. I did not add the other challenges, and will do so here, as I continue to have problems with my computer and Splitcoast - today they are having a bad day LOL!

I used a JustRite birthday greeting for: http://justritestampers.typepad.com/

and I did the top row across as well as the middle row down (Bingo) - using dry embossing, die cuts, flowers, and die cuts, ribbon (twine) and bling for: http://sweetstampsblog.blogspot.com/

JustRite stamp, Spellbinders circle die, flower die (I forget the company that made this set), Memory Box Lavalier circle, K&Company dp, misc. white and chocolate cs, chocolate ink, chocolate half pearls.
I used a wet aqua brush to pull out a bit of the ink for a soft sponged look on the swirls as well as around the sentiment. Any ideas you have for using this JustRite set will be much appreciated. I am not fond of scissors, so cutting around the swirls is pretty low on my list of methods!

A baby card

I need a baby card for my stash, so this could possibly be for either a girl or boy.

I used this sketch: http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/

This challenge is to do a baby card: http://totallystampalicious.blogspot.com/

I used pink, moss and aqua: http://dancinginpajamas.blogspot.com/

And anything: http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/

This adorable elephant is from Unity Could I be any Cuter? The sentiment is one of several on a 7Gypsies library stamp. I used the closest to moss ink I had!
Lots of cs scraps, some stray flowers, and aqua ribbon. I needed a bit of that trellis punch to cover an edge gone wrong.

Mark 9:3

I am using a stamp from a set I recently won at: http://hippitywithippity.blogspot.com/
The set is called All things are possible. Thank you, Ippity and Aletha.

I used the sketch found here: http://seemsalittlesketchy.blogspot.com/
I rotated the layout due to the shape of the stamp.

It may be a stretch, but I consider this a sentiment expressing love, for: http://www.paperandsuchonline.blogspot.com/
(There is another stamp I did not use, saying Sending Hope and Love).

I used dies for http://dieingforachallenge.blogspot.com/

Anything for: http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/

A charm for: http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/

Image: Ippity
CS: Accent opaque white, Burning Ember (Fourz??)
Ink: Sepia
Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page
Memory Box Levolier Die
Robins Nest drops
Petaloo Flowers
Pizzazz Aplenty charm and pearl
Note: the card is about 4.25x5.20. I adjusted the length to coordinate with the proportions necessary for the Punch. I am finding it takes a bit of practice.

Singing out

I needed a card of encouragement, and decided to find some challenges that would work. I am not at all satisfied with the result, but no time for a do-over, so it will suffice.

This is the layout I used: http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/

This challenge is to emphasize the sentiment: http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.com/

I used a couple of the colors and the soft look of the inspiration found here: http://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/
The ribbon, DP and apricot colored cs have been in my stash for a long time.

The singing bird provides music for this challenge: http://hippitywithippity.blogspot.com/

I am not much into social media, but this birdie is certainly tweeting!: http://crafts4eternity.blogspot.com/

I used a sentiment from a brand new Ippity (All Things are Possible) set. The image is from Unity. I used a Memory Box die and Nestie label.

For Granddaughter

This meets requirements for several challenges:

I used this layout: http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/search/label/challenge

The shiny burgundy half pearls (bling) for: http://phindysplacechallenge.blogspot.com/

I used some glittery ribbon: http://letsinkitup.blogspot.com/

Lots of pink: http://robynsfetishchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-95-pretty-in-pink.html

Lots of glitter (ribbon, pink oval CS, shimmery ribbon): http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/

The image is a Gorjuss Girl colored with prismas.
DCWV Spring dp, glittery pink and solid pink cs; burgundy half pearls, shimmery pink ribbon, Nesties ovals, computer sentiment, pink stickles

.

Thy word is a lamp...

I tried to make a scene for this challenge - honestly, that is probably my least favorite style, as I just do not have a knack for it, but I did give it a try.

http://ourdailybreaddesignsblog.blogspot.com/

I used the sketch here, which I turned: http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/

Lots of layers: http://ssdschallenge.blogspot.com/

The inspiration of brown, orange and teal is from: http://chocolatecoffeecards.blogspot.com/

I have had this Rubber Stampede stamp for a long time. I used Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink. I think the DP is from a DCWV stack. The sun is really a flower that is part of the Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet set. I used distressed stripes (CB) for the teal layer - for the "water" and "sky". I actually had a bit of ribbon with the right colors!

Springtime Get Well

This is a card I made for the following:

The challenge here: http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2012/02/this-weeks-challenge_16.html
We were challenged to include a basket on a green and white get well card. First of all, if you look at the challenge site you will notice a similarity to Selma's sample card. It is gorgeous, and I could not help myself - I had to see what I could do! I hope my image is close enough to a basket - the best I could find.

This challenge is for anything: http://digidoodleshopsbest.blogspot.com/

My favorites are embossing folders and dies (as well as just about anything I use!!): http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/

The sketch is here: http://willowsketchiechallenge.blogspot.com/

I used my CP argyle folder, inked the inside, and embossed to get the lattice like layer. I had the DP in my stash, as well as a piece of green cs. I used SU garden Green ink, and a yellow Spica pen. The basket of flowers is from the SU Sweet on You set, and the brads are from Paper Studio.

Here's to Age (Emerson)

I completed another card for several challenges.

I used a terrific sketch found here: http://www.thehousethatstampsbuilt.com/sketch-challenges/what-if-wednesday-sketch-challenge-f812/

I added some distressed edges, and a bit of sponging to the image, for: http://craftsandmechallenges.blogspot.com/

And: http://www.dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/

Thia calls for favorites - well that is just about anything I do! But the color teal is right up there. Ribbon and Nestabilities are, too. http://craftuscrazy.blogspot.com/

Anything goes here: http://digidoodleshopsbest.blogspot.com/

The image is by Emerson, and DP is My Mind's Eye. THe dark teal is textured, but I don't recall where I got it. I cut with Nesties, embossed the sponged the bg, colored with Prismas. The sheer ribbon is from Dollar Tree.

Metal and twine in a blue,, brown and cream sketch

I am still replenishing my stash of Thinking of You cards, and fit in several challenges in the process.

The first requires metal - the brads have been in my goodie drawer for a long time: http://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/

I used some twine for: http://craftyribbonschallenge.blogspot.com/

The DP has blue, brown, and cream - though I managed to just about cover all of the cream - I hope you can see it inside the brown swirls! -http://www.cinspirations.blogspot.com/

The dog and sentiment are for: http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/
This is the sketch:http://ribboncarouselchallenge.blogspot.com/

The image is by the Rubber Cafe, and sentiment Whiff of Joy. Ink is SU chocolate chip., and I used DP and CS from my stash. Twine is from Pizzazz Aplenty, and I used brads from my misc. collection! Paw Print ribbon is Ribbon Boutique.
